While researching how to make paper cameras (because what else are you going to do on a rainy day), I stumbled across the work of Kevin LCK, a Hong Kong and London based illustrator and product designer. His beautifully made cardboard camera titled Object #2 is part of a project called "Ordinary Behaviour".
Come and say hi this weekend at the Sydney Finders Keepers Markets. We will be introducing our latest range - 'Double Dutch', super styled skipping rope necklaces.
Along with the Double Dutch collection, we will also be peddling some classic wares from past ranges as well as a handmade limited edition range of goodies developed especially for all you market goers.
While trawling through Pinterest today I came across the work again of Belgium artist Wim Delvoye. A lot of his work revolves around the body but it's his intricately carved tires that I find strangely beautiful. His website is fun to navigate too.
This fun little photographic essay is the work of Ulrika Kestere. It documents the fairy tale of a girl whose drying laundry is taken by a gust of wind. The girl looks for her clothes across the country-side only to discover them in theses whimsical horse shaped forms. Ok, so this is the 2 second condensed version, but you can check out the unedited story on her blog, Ulicam.
Oh and taking a peek at her website too, she has lots of other lovely images you must see.
